Alamé was founded by Thomas and Elle, a couple combining German efficiency with Indonesian hospitality and local insight.

Their journey began in 2022 with the acquisition of a charming one-bedroom villa in Munggu, Bali. Experiencing the market firsthand as owners revealed common challenges: limited transparency, inconsistent quality, and a lack of strategic oversight.

Thomas brings over three years of experience managing holiday apartments in Germany, combined with his background as former Managing Director and owner of a tour operator specializing in tailor-made journeys to Southeast Asia and the Indian Ocean. This experience has shaped Alamé’s DNA — a strong focus on guest expectations, operational excellence, and long-term performance.

Elle contributes deep local knowledge, cultural sensitivity, and a natural sense of hospitality. She ensures strong on-the-ground teams, smooth daily operations, and authentic guest experiences rooted in Balinese warmth.

Together, they built Alamé to be the boutique villa management company they once searched for themselves — as investors and travelers.
